Brook Green, London – Mosaic Garden

Featured in Homes & Gardens magazine, this small courtyard is characterised by a simple structure which is reflected back to the visitor through a mirrored wall. Moroccan inspired tiles cover a plinth for a beautiful oil jar. Sumptuous planting fills the space including three magnificent pleached Magnolia grandiflora trees and scented climbing plants. Raised beds surround a sandstone terrace and a fixed raised bench creates additional seating for the space.

“Joanna was brilliant from start to finish. She listened carefully to what I wanted to achieve, enhanced the ideas and provided me with beautiful professional plans, a colourful tone board and a detailed planting plan. She then found and managed the landscapers so the work was carried out smoothly, on schedule and to budget. The end result was better than I could have possibly imagined - the garden was transformed and one year on remains a beautiful space which is low-maintenance; just what I wanted. I wholeheartedly recommend Joanna Archer Garden Design - a very professional and yet personal service. Joanna is knowledgeable and diligent, collaborative and, as a real bonus, fun to work with.” P.P.
