Ravenscourt Park, London – Edwardian Renovation

This garden is for a busy family who needed spaces for the children to play, entertaining areas and well-defined planted views from their newly renovated house. The design is crisp and contemporary, reflecting the architect designed garden building clad in scorched larch.

We designed and installed two stunning kitchen areas complete with drinks fridge, sink, barbeque and Big Green Egg. The secluded dining space doubles up as a table tennis corner for the children.

A secret seating area with a swing chair is the perfect place for all to relax.

A morning coffee terrace is nestled next to the house and is surrounded by scented plants; Daphne, climbing roses, lavender and lilac.

“We have been exceptionally pleased and happy with how our garden has turned out. It is outstandingly well thought out in terms of layout and design. Every turn and corner leads to a delight for the eyes. We want to give special mention to the kitchen and dining area which has been meticulously designed and landscaped.” A.H.

“We had a brilliant time designing it together with Joanna Archer: our brief was an area easy and intuitive to use, really attractive and practical at the same time. The result, which incorporates silky concrete, charred wood, green plants and climbing jasmine, is nothing but a joy and it works PERFECTLY.” A.H.
