Thame, Buckinghamshire – Wildflower Meadow

Confronted with a newly installed tennis court inside an empty field, we set about designing a meadow garden to link this new space to the house. We used a simple combination of curved hedging, crabapple trees, topiary and wildflower meadows laid in geometric formations. The result is a naturalistic pathway to the tennis court that reflects the surrounding landscape yet still feels like a garden you can sit and relax in. The wildflower meadow is exceptionally long flowering, low maintenance and attractive to pollinators.
